I'm chipping away at my 10 things to do in 2010, and this week I got to cross off goal #6: market my work to a gallery or shop.
Each apron is made from upcycled pants and dress shirts, scrap fabrics, and vintage bias tape and ric rac.
Aren't they cute with my big labels and sign? It's great to see my marketing coming together - I'm learning so much about how a unified, clean presentation is a big piece of creating a brand and having success.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to explore retail and consignment at a shop that I have a personal relationship with. Now that I have a clearer idea of the process, I have much more confidence in getting ready to approach other shops in Providence!
Come on over to the children's museum and check them out!

Perfect fit! I can't wait to take a peek at them on the shelves tomorrow :)
