A Week in Quilt Sketches

Here's another week of quilting inspiration recorded in my sketchbook.  Some of them I'm not so crazy about, but I think it's important that I not edit myself.

Inspired by a quilt I saw with strips of ribbons

Inspired by the Seekonk River bridge, and the architectural design of the new CAC at Brown

Inspired by the view from my desk at the office, and the view from my friend Emmy's window

I want to hear if you have any ideas or inspiration for a quilt - enter the mini quilt giveaway!

  2. I'm really inspired by your "through the doorway" and "view out a window" quilts- reminds me of Edward Hopper. I bet his paintings would make great quilts! Especially this one, this one, and this one.
