WANT!!!!!!
I need to add some solids to my fabric stash - I have a lot of floral prints and dots, but I've realized that modern quilting requires solids to give the eyes a break and let the prints really stand out.
Robert Kaufman makes these "Bounty of Basics" boxes of 100 fat quarters in a few varieties: light kona solids, dark kona solids, and some subtly patterned fabrics as well.
You can find the boxes available at the Fat Quarter Shop.
Now I just need to wait for a payday to justify this big (but oh so necessary) purchase!!

Yes, WANT! Looking at his stuff made me want to make a Dr. Seuss quilt as well.
ReplyDeleteI've just enjoyed your guest post on Heart Handmade. I can't wait until I've built up a fabric stash of my own - I tend to just buy enought for each project at the moment. It's nice to see a selection of plains.
